OUR HISTORY
Our company originated in the personal experience of Steffen Wirth, an engineer with BMW who underwent two episodes of severe burnout over the course of several years. In an effort to understand and cope with his condition, he consulted with many medical doctors and studied the scientific literature in many fields, including biology, endocrinology, and psychology. Having developed an extensive knowledge base about burnout, he teamed up in 2018 with a medical doctor to devise a comprehensive, holistic multi-part questionnaire to help people assess whether they are suffering from burnout and at what stage of the condition they might be in.
Steffen’s interest in helping people identify their symptoms and deal with burnout led him to connect with a consortium of professionals from many fields—engineering, leadership development, HR, L&D consulting, and technical platform development—to form this company, Health 4 Innovation, in 2020.
Our company’s initial focus is to work with organizations of all sizes—from sole proprietors to mid-size and large organizations—in the areas of workplace stress reduction and burnout prevention. Eventually, we intend to branch into other areas to improve workplace wellness and help employees take greater responsibility for their health and wellbeing. The more employers and employees work in collaboration to ensure healthy workplaces and healthy people, the more productive and satisfying the environment becomes, maximizing the organization’s bottom-line results and enabling its sustainability.
